Acceptable use

Acceptable use policy.

KindNet Protect is designed for South African families. This policy describes, in plain language, how the service may and may not be used.

Household use

The Family plan is for a single household. Devices you enrol should belong to members of the household, not to unrelated third parties.

Prohibited uses

  • Reselling or sharing your account outside your household.
  • Attempting to circumvent, reverse-engineer or interfere with KindNet's protection.
  • Using KindNet to enable, mask or facilitate unlawful activity.
  • Enrolling devices you don't have authority to configure.

Fair use

KindNet is intended for typical household usage patterns. Where unusual usage appears — for example a very large number of enrolled devices — we may reach out to understand the context.

Enforcement

Where a policy breach occurs we will normally reach out first. Serious or repeated breaches may result in suspension or termination of the account, as described in the Terms of service.

Reporting concerns

If you spot something that looks like a policy breach or a safety concern, please reach out via the contact form.
